Green infrastructure research laboratories (GIRLS)

Green infrastructure research laboratories (GIRLS) is based at Cities Research Institute at Griffith University and is working to reinstate soil and plants back onto country into regions that are denuded by development or industrial activity.

Our vision is to bring green infrastructure to life through design and research. We are partnering to build and demonstrate better ways for us to co-exist with nature.

Our team includes ecological engineers, architects, environmental and social scientists who are sensitive to finding the most positive outcome for human systems and processes in collaboration with nature.
